As a data entry operator, you’ll perform series of data entry work using a personal computer and appropriate software; entering, researching, updating, verifying and/or retrieving data into/from various systems; and ensuring there Is confidentiality and accuracy of information recorded. They may also be referred to as Data Entry Clerks, Or Data Entry Specialists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing, compiling and sorting documents for data entry

Checking source documents for accuracy

Verifying  data and correcting data where necessary

Obtaining further information for incomplete documents

Updating data and deleting unnecessary files

READ  DRIVER’S NEEDED IN UNITED STATES…AWESOME PAYMENT INVOLVED

Rearranging and combining data from source documents where required

Scanning documents into document management systems or databases

Checking completed work for accuracy

Storing completed documents in designated locations

Maintaining logbooks or records of activities and tasks

Responding to requests for information and access relevant files.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

READ  CLEANER NEEDED IN UNITED STATES…AWESOME PAYMENT INVOLVED

Excellent keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed

Basic knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
